HUF and Seiko launch two limited edition watches.
The SBSA163 features an understated, earthy tone of orange-brown and khaki-green. The watch has a black dial with the fluorescent green HUF logo and a central second hand. It incorporates an olive green strap in khaki and allows better visibility, which will be very useful outdoors. The watch’s automatic movement is visible through the neon green tinted glass caseback.
Only 1000 pieces of the SBSA163 will be available for sale.
The second design, SBSA164, is more luxurious but it carries the same essence as the first. The watch has a crown set at the 4 o’clock position, and its rich jewel tones look almost regal.
The case and bracelet are accented by the gold IP coating. The sunbrushed dark green dial creates a stark contrast to the gold, and it’s hard to take your eyes off the glossy design. The dark green dial additionally matches the dark green background of the watch.
In addition to the extraordinary colors and superior construction, the SBSA164 uses Mak Hae-Young’s stick markers instead of the round lume pot hour markers commonly found in 5 Sports models.
According to the company’s press release, only 300 pieces of the SBSA164 will be available for sale. Each of these limited edition watches will have a serial number engraved on the case back.
Both the SBSA163 and SBSA164 models feature a bright green HUF identity, contrasting dark green dial, transparent back cover, and feature serial numbering and “Limited Edition” brand logos from HUF and Seiko.
The collaboration will launch at HUF flagship stores and on the labels’ Japanese websites at noon on Friday, April 22, 2022. The SBSA163 will be priced at ¥42,900 (approximately US$333) and the SBSA164 will be priced at ¥47,300 ( around $367). USD).
Recently, the watch brand also collaborated with Dr. Brian May for a special red iteration of 5 sports models.
